as its President. Bob joined SIA and worked part time during summer vacation while in

insurance instruction from numerous sources and obtained total Personal,
Commercial, life, health licensing.
Bob and wife, Ann have four children and twelve grandchildren. They attend the
historic St. Mary’s of Mattingly Settlement, a Church build by the hands of their
ancestors. Serves on the Finance Committee and Building Committee.
He is a 3rd degree Knight of Columbus, also past Grand Knight.
Bob served as the Director of the Coming Home Network from 2000 to 2005.
In 1999 he received the highly honored “Diocesan Service Award”.

I joined the Smeltzer Insurance Agency in 2006. I began as a CSR then went through Hondros
Business College to get my License in Property & Casualty Insurance. I had worked for 18 Years as a
STNA in a nursing home and as a Home Health Aide before beginning my career in Insurance. Left the
insurance business from 2009 until 2016 while I pursued other adventures. I returned to SIA in 2016. I plan to remain here till I retire.
I have 7 children, 7 grandchildren have been married 28 years. I also, in my spare time, love remodeling homes. I
also support several foundations and organizations in our community because there is no place like
Home. We are committed to making you feel at home with our friendly, knowledgeable and
compassionate team of Agents.

I started working at Smeltzer Insurance in 2017 after graduating college with degrees in Early Childhood Education and Theology from Zane State College and Muskingum University. My favorite thing about working here is that we're carrying on what my grandfather, Ted Smeltzer, began. I have fond memories of walking to the office from the old Frazeysburg Intermediate after school, doing homework while waiting for the close of the day and watching his interactions with customers. Even though we lost my grandfather in 2015, it seems things haven't changed much. I love how being a small town business with two offices means we can really get to know people and their needs and service them in the best possible way. When I'm not working, I can be found writing my latest novel, teaching Sunday School for St Ann/St Mary Parish or cuddling with my three kittens.
